History

Okamachi Station opened on 10 March 1910 on what is now the Hankyu Takarazuka Line in Toyonaka, Osaka. It is now an elevated station with a single island platform on the third floor and ticket-gates and concourse on the second; only one ticket gate is provided. Station numbering for all Hankyu stations was introduced on 21 December 2013, with Okamachi assigned number HK-45. The station sits 9.5 kilometers from the line's terminus at Osaka-umeda and serves Toyonaka City Hall and nearby kofun burial mounds.
