• Toyohashi Railroad Azumada Main Line: Maehata ⇄ Azumada

Azumada-Sakaue Stop opened on 25 December 1925 on the Toyohashi Electric Railway's tram line (now Toyohashi Railroad Azumada Main Line) at what is now Azumada-chō Higashi-mae-yama in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. On 7 April 1950 it was relocated onto a newly built section of track during the postwar reconstruction's double-tracking and street-line realignment. The stop carries number 9, and stands at the top of a steep grade that climbs east from neighbouring Maehata; the name literally means "top of the Azumada slope", though no "Sakaue" placename exists nearby.

Despite the name, the stop sits at the intersection labelled "Azumada" (the next intersection east, by Azumada Stop, is labelled "Azumada-Densei-mae" — "in front of the Azumada tram stop"). A crossover for trams is laid in the direction of Akaiwaguchi.
