Yokoze

Yokoze Station opened on 14 October 1969 on Seibu Railway's then-new Seibu Chichibu Line in what is now the town of Yokoze, Saitama. A new station building was placed in service on 14 January 1992. From 26 March 1998 all Chichibu limited expresses began stopping at Yokoze, with the neighbouring Ashigakubo Station downgraded to a seasonal-only stop. Station numbering SI35 was applied during fiscal 2012 with the Seibu network-wide rollout. The single island platform serves two tracks, with the station building on the northern side connected by a level crossing. A neighbouring Seibu Railway rolling-stock depot preserves classic Seibu Red Arrow and E851 locomotives.

Trains continuing onto the Chichibu Railway are split or coupled at Yokoze, where the dedicated crossover tracks let services reach Ohanabatake without entering the Seibu-Chichibu terminus.
