• San'in Main Line: Masuda ⇄ Iinoura

Todakohama Station opened on 8 March 1925 as the terminus of a Japan Government Railways San'in Main Line extension from Iwami-Masuda (now Masuda), under the name Iwami-Kohama Station. It was renamed Todakohama on 1 November that year; the line was extended onward to Iinoura on 19 June 1927, making it a through-station. Freight handling ceased on 1 February 1963 and parcel service on 1 February 1984, with full unstaffing following on 14 March 1985. The station passed to JR West at JNR privatisation on 1 April 1987. After a brief staffed period it was unstaffed again from 10 March 1990, and was out of service from 28 July to 9 November 2013 owing to torrential-rain damage along the line.

The wooden station building survives, but rather than serving rail passengers it now houses a community centre and a branch of the JA Nishi-Iwami agricultural co-operative.
