• Miyazu Line: Tango-Yura ⇄ Shinonome (Kyoto)

Tango-Kanzaki Station opened on 22 June 1957 as a petitioned-for stop on the Miyazu Line between Shinonome and Tango-Yura, in what is now the city of Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture. Initially an unstaffed diesel-railcar passenger stop, it joined JR West at the 1 April 1987 privatisation and was transferred to Kitakinki Tango Railway on 1 April 1990. In March 2014 it received the nickname Kanzaki Beach Station, and on 1 April 2015 operation passed to Willer Trains, making it a Kyoto Tango Railway Miyamai (Miyazu) Line station today.

Since March 2014 the station carries the additional nickname "Kanzaki Beach Station," reflecting its role as the nearest stop to Kanzaki Beach on the Sea of Japan coast.
