• Toei Mita Line: Shin-takashimadaira ⇄ Nishidai (Tokyo)

Takashimadaira Station opened on 27 December 1968 under the original name Shimura Station, as part of the inaugural section of the Toei Subway Line 6 in Itabashi, Tokyo. Residents protested that the chosen name did not match the actual Akatsuka district in which the station stood, and on 1 August 1969 the stop was renamed Takashimadaira to match a new town name introduced earlier that year. On 6 May 1976 a 1.5 km extension to Nishi-Takashimadaira opened, converting the formerly terminal station into a through stop. Line 6 was renamed the Mita Line on 1 July 1978, and PASMO IC service began on 18 March 2007.

The station's 2-island, 4-track layout was originally built to allow through-running with the Tobu Tōjō Line; when Tobu pulled out of the plan, the unused tracks 1 and 4 sat without rails until the 1976 Nishi-Takashimadaira extension finally brought them into service.
