Location
History
Suzukichō Station opened on 10 December 1929 as Ajinomoto-mae Station on the Keihin Electric Railway, named for the adjacent factory of the Ajinomoto Corporation. It was renamed Suzukichō on 20 October 1944 in honour of Saburōsuke Suzuki, a founder of Ajinomoto. The station was renovated in 2010 and assigned the number KK22 in Keikyū's October 2010 station-numbering rollout. The unmanned-style stop sits 2.0 kilometres from the Daishi Line terminus at Keikyū Kawasaki Station, with two opposed side platforms connected by an underpass and two west-side exits, the secondary of which is open only during morning peak hours.
