Shin-yashiki Station is a Kagoshima City Tram First-Phase Line tram stop in Shin-yashiki-chō, Kagoshima. It was opened on 3 July 1914 by Kagoshima Electric Tramway, the privately-owned predecessor of today's municipal tram, and on 1 July 1928 was transferred to the Kagoshima City Electric Bureau (today the Kagoshima City Transportation Bureau) along with the rest of the city tram. Only Route 1 (Tanyama – Kagoshima-eki-mae) uses the stop. The two side platforms can be crossed by riders at any time the tram is not passing, and both have approach indicators and announcements; standard wheelchairs can use the stop but motorised wheelchairs are not permitted because the platform width is below the regulation minimum.

The stop is named for the local district Shin-yashiki-chō; surrounding it are Nanpō Broadcasting headquarters, the Kagoshima Prefectural Housing Supply Corporation buildings, the Kagoshima-Chūō Police Station and the Kenkei Budōkan martial-arts hall, plus the Shin-yashiki Onsen and Kagoshima Women's Junior College.
