History
Shin-Saidaijichō-suji Stop opened on 18 March 1928 with the opening of the Yanagawa-Daiunjichō (today's Daiunji-mae) section of the Okayama Electric Tramway Seikibashi Line. The stop is located in Tamachi 2-chōme and Omotechō 3-chōme, Kita-ku, Okayama City. Stop number S06. It has a single island platform serving two tracks.
Notes
The stop is frequently confused with the similarly-named Saidaijichō / Okayama Geijutsu Sōzō Gekijō Halenowa-mae Stop on the Higashiyama Main Line and with JR Saidaiji Station on the Akō Line, but these are separate stations. Both this stop and the Higashiyama Main Line one however do connect to the same Okayama Omotechō shopping arcade.
