History

Shingi stop opened on 15 October 1910, when Tosa Electric Railway extended the Gomen Line between Kuzushima-bashi Nishizume Stop and Kanoko Stop. On 1 October 2014, the corporate merger forming Tosaden Kōtsū made it one of that operator's stops.

Notes

Shingi's two platforms are arranged opposite each other on either side of the tracks — the Gomen-machi-bound platform to the north (a white-lined boarding area on the parallel road) and the Harimaya-bashi-bound platform (a proper safety zone) to the south.
