• Hachikō Line: Yorii ⇄ Takezawa

Orihara Station opened on 6 October 1934 as a stop on what would become the Hachikō Line, the cross-country route now linking Hachiōji and Takasaki via Kawagoe. The station passed from Japanese National Railways to East Japan Railway Company on 1 April 1987 with the JNR breakup and privatisation. It remains a small unstaffed halt in the town of Yorii, Saitama, with a single side platform serving the line, and in fiscal 2010 averaged only about 40 boarding passengers a day, reflecting its rural setting between Komagawa and Takasaki.
