Nishikoba Station opened on 16 March 1991 as an unstaffed stop on the Matsuura Railway Nishi-Kyūshū Line in Matsuura, Nagasaki Prefecture. The line has been operated by the third-sector Matsuura Railway since 1988. The site consists of a single ground-level side platform with no station building; only a waiting room and toilets are provided. The platform sits 44.4 km from the Arita end of the line.
