History

Nishi-Nakano Station (C05) is a Toyama Chihō Railway tram stop in Nishi-Nakano-machi, Toyama City, on prefectural road 43. It opened on 1 September 1913 as a Toyama Electric Tramway stop, was transferred to the Toyama City Tramway on 1 July 1920, joined Toyama Chihō Railway on 1 January 1943, was suspended on 2 August 1945 by the Toyama Air Raid and reopened 14 January 1946. Before 1943 the adjacent Hakusan-sha-mae stop was abolished and Nishi-Nakano was moved north to fill the gap.

Notes

Sometime before 1943 the neighbouring Hakusan-sha-mae tram stop closed and Nishi-Nakano was shifted north to fill the gap — a small early example of the line's repeated stop consolidations.
