• Tōzai Line: Odori ⇄ Nishi juhatchome

Nishi-Jūitchōme Station opened on 10 June 1976 as part of the inaugural Tōzai Line section of the Sapporo Municipal Subway, between Kotoni and Shiroishi. The platform runs parallel to Ōdōri Park and crosses National Route 230 (Ishiyama-dōri) at right angles, sharing the under-park alignment with the neighbouring Ōdōri Station. Platform-edge sliding doors were brought into service on 18 December 2008. In fiscal 2024 the station saw an average of 16,293 boarding passengers per day, ranking it the fourth-busiest stop on the Tōzai Line after Ōdōri, Shin-Sapporo, and Nishi-Jūhatchōme.

The station stamp incorporates the letter 'N' (for Nishi) with an illustration of the Sapporo Shiryōkan (city archive building) tucked inside it.
