History
Nakamachi (Nishichō-Kita) Station (C09) is a Toyama Chihō Railway tram stop in Sōgawa, Toyama City, on prefectural road 6. It opened on 17 May 2013 as a single-faced platform (length 13.5 m, with a 12 m shelter and a 6.5 m ramp) used only by Toyama-bound trams; trams toward Minami-Toyama do not stop. The name combines a prewar stop name (Nakamachi) with its position relative to the adjacent Nishichō stop.
Notes
Because the adjacent Nishichō stop cannot serve loop-line trams, transfers from a loop tram to a Minami-Toyama-bound tram must alight here, collect a transfer ticket and walk to Nishichō. Before this stop opened in 2013 the transfer point was Grand Plaza-mae.
