History
Muro Station opened on 1 April 1916 on the Yōrō Line, in the city of Ōgaki, Gifu Prefecture, and is operated by the private Yōrō Railway. It is located 44.1 rail kilometres from the line's opposing terminus at Kuwana. The ground-level station has one side platform serving a single bidirectional track and is unstaffed.
