Mishima-Futsukamachi Station opened on 15 December 1932 on the Izuhakone Railway's Sunzu Line, 2.9 km south of the line's Mishima terminus. The single side platform serves a single track and the station building was historically staffed; from 23 February 2020, however, daytime attendance was cut back to only the morning hours of 07:00 to 08:30 in line with the same change at Takyō Station. From 18 January 2023 the station has carried the sub-name 'Mirai no Mishima wo tomo ni sasaeru' under a naming-rights deal with the local Ono Construction company.

The station sits in an industrial pocket between the local Yokohama Rubber and Morinaga plants, both of which are visible from the platform.
