• Kisei Line: Susami ⇄ Esumi

Mirozu Station opened on 7 September 1938 with the extension of the Ministry of Railways' Kisei West Line between Susami and Esumi. Located in the town of Susami, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, the station became part of the Kisei Main Line in 1959 when the trunk route between Kameyama and Wakayama was completed. Freight handling ended in 1971, baggage handling in 1978, and the station became unstaffed in 1985. Control passed to West Japan Railway Company at the privatisation of JNR on 1 April 1987. ICOCA card use began on 13 March 2021. The wooden station building survives, and consists of one island platform serving two tracks for train crossings.

In 2018 the local tourism association leased the station building from JR West and opened a tourist information centre and café inside; in 1997 the building had briefly housed a small aquarium that was the predecessor of today's Susami Town Shrimp and Crab Aquarium.
