History
Minami-Uozaki Station opened on 21 February 1990 on the Rokkō Island Line, an automated guideway transit system operated by Kobe New Transit in Higashinada-ku, Kobe. Located 2.0 kilometres from the line's terminus at Sumiyoshi, it serves the artificial island's residential and commercial development. The station has a single elevated island platform.
