History

Matsuyama Station opened on 22 March 1997 as an additional stop on the Heisei Chikuhō Railway Itoda Line in Itoda Town, Fukuoka. The station consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track and has no station building; the platform is reached by stairs and a slope. It is unstaffed.

Notes

Matsuyama Station's nickname is "the duck station" (カモの駅), and a pedestrian bridge running across the adjacent Chūganji River passes right beside the platform.
