History
Magarisawa Station opened on 29 October 1989, on the Chōkai Sanroku Line operated by the third-sector Yuri Kōgen Railway, in the city of Yurihonjō, Akita Prefecture. The station is located 10.3 kilometres from the line's terminus at Ugo-Honjō. It has a single side platform serving a single bi-directional track, and is unattended. National Route 108 passes through the surrounding area.
