History
Koboreguchi Station, on what is now the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line, sits in Abeno-ku, Osaka, near Bishōen Station on JR West's Hanwa Line. The station consists of two side platforms one above the other in a four-level structure. Although the cached English Wikipedia extract is sparse on history, the Japanese article records the station's opening on 16 October 1923 as part of the Osaka Railway between Osaka Tennoji (now Ōsaka-Abenobashi) and Harinakano.
Notes
The station's name derives from a moat that the courtier Wake no Kiyomaro began excavating across the Uemachi Plateau in 788.
