History
Hirose-Yachō-no-Mori Station opened on 27 March 2003 on the Chichibu Main Line in the city of Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture. Its name was chosen from candidates submitted by 174 Kumagaya residents and people who worked in the city. Operated by Chichibu Railway, the station consists of a single side platform serving a bidirectional track, with a log-cabin-style building containing a small ticket office, waiting room and accessible toilets. On 12 March 2022 it began accepting PASMO via simple readers and was made unstaffed at the same time.
