Location
History
Hasugaike opened on 1 December 1986 as the Hasugaike provisional halt of Japanese National Railways on the existing Nippō Main Line. It was operated unstaffed from the outset. With the 1 April 1987 privatisation it passed to JR Kyushu and was upgraded to a full station. SUGOCA IC service started on 14 November 2015, and on 1 April 2022 jurisdiction moved from the Kagoshima Branch to the new Miyazaki Branch.
