Deyashiki Station opened on 12 April 1905 with the Hanshin Main Line in Amagasaki. From 14 April 1929 the Hanshin Amagasaki Coast Line branched 1.7 km south to Higashihama; the Takasu–Higashihama section closed on 19 July 1951 and the remaining line was abandoned on 1 December 1962 as compensation for the construction of National Route 43. The station was upgraded to elevated tracks as part of Amagasaki's continuous grade-separation project, with the downbound side opening on 29 July 1991 and full elevation completed on 23 January 1994. Station numbering HS-10 was introduced on 1 April 2014.

The Hanshin Amagasaki Coast Line, which used to branch southward from Deyashiki, was abandoned on 1 December 1962 as compensation for the construction of National Route 43 — and that same compensation package fixed neighbouring Amagasaki Center Pool-mae as a permanent rather than temporary stop.
