• Tosaden Kōtsū Ino Line: Kamimachi-gochōme ⇄ Asahi-ekimae-dōri

Asahimachi-itchōme Station opened on 9 October 1906 as Nakasuka (中須賀停留場), with the Ino Line extension west from Noridashi to Kagamigawabashi. It was renamed Asahimachi-itchōme on 1 February 1938. In May 1975 the turnout that had been here was moved to Kamimachi-gochōme. On 22 February 2011 the stop was rebuilt as part of a road-widening project — platforms moved to the far side of the intersection, brought up to barrier-free standard, fitted with covered shelters, benches, and tram-approach indicators. The stop passed to Tosaden Kōtsū on 1 October 2014 with the operator merger.

Until May 1975 a turnout here let Harimaya-bashi-bound short workings terminate at this stop — the turnout was then moved one stop east to Kamimachi-gochōme, and the short-working terminus moved with it.
